Jivamukti Yoga was created by David Life and Sharon Gannon in 1984, and integrates the physical, philosophical and spiritual aspects of yoga. Music is incorporated into every class, and sessions also involve chanting, hands-on adjustment, and Pranayama or ‘breathing’ exercises.
